Rating System Explained

Hello everyone! Since Rating Systems can be mysterious to some. I am going to explain how my Rating System is going to work on this blog.

Rating: 5 out of 5.

The Five Star Rating: Basically means that: I LOVED IT! THIS WAS AMAZING AND I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN! AND WOULD TOTALLY REREAD OR REWATCH IT AGAIN!

The book or other media was breathtaking. The characters are great and left an impression on me. The plot held my attention and it had good pacing. The writing is also part of the reading for why I would rank something this high. This is my highly recommended rating.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

The Four Star Rating: Basically means that: I REALLY LIKED IT!

I would give this rating for books and/or media where I really liked it and enjoyable. There may have just been a few things that could have been improved on. Or flaws that are very minor in nature. Or there may have been nothing wrong with the book and/or media but it just didn’t blow me away. If I give out this rating I would recommend this book and/or media.

Rating: 3 out of 5.

The Three Star Rating: I Liked it.

The book and/or media was good. I didn’t love it and I didn’t dislike it. There were probably a few things that bothered me about it and it may have had a slower pace to it in parts. I would still recommend the book, but it’s not one of my favourites.

Rating: 2 out of 5.

The Two Star Rating: I did not like it.

The work may had some redeeming qualities or moments that I did like. But overall I don’t like them either because of the plot, writing, characters. I wouldn’t read it again or recommend it to anyone else.

Rating: 1 out of 5.

The One Star Rating: I hated it!

I hated the book and/or media and had several real issues with it. There wasn’t anything about it that I enjoyed.

DNF – Did Not Finish: The Book was either so bad or so boring to me that I couldn’t even finish it.
